🌴 The Vacation Glow Guide

Taking your tan on a trip? Whether you're poolside or beach-bound, follow these rules to keep your glow looking fresh from takeoff to the flight home.

🌊 The Water Rule: "Dip, Don't Soak"

Chlorine and salt water are natural exfoliants. To prevent an early fade:

  • Keep it short: Enjoy the water, but try to keep swims to 10–15 minutes.

  • Rinse ASAP: As soon as you get out of the pool or ocean, rinse off with fresh water to remove salt and chemicals.

🧴 SPF: Choose Your Armor Wisely

Not all sunscreens are tan-friendly. Avoid aerosol sprays and oils, as the alcohol content will strip your tan in seconds.

  • Our Favs: Stick to lotion-based formulas like Sun Bum or Vacation Brand. They smell like a dream and won't compromise your color.

  • Pat, Don’t Rub: When applying, gently smooth the lotion over your skin.

✨ The Mid-Trip Refresh (The Day 4 Rule)

Around Day 4, or as soon as you notice your tan starting to dip, it’s time for a boost.

  • The Secret Weapon: Pack a self-tanner to keep the momentum going. We highly recommend Dolce Glow to touch up your face, hands, or any areas where the sun and sand have started to win. It blends seamlessly with your professional glow.

🏖️ Sand & Towels

  • Pat Dry: When drying off, always pat your skin gently. Friction is the enemy of an even fade.

  • Chair Life: Sand is a natural exfoliant. Lounging directly in it will scrub your tan off, so keep a soft towel between you and the beach.
